To tax someone based on his/her BMI is a serious flaw. BMI is not an accurate measurement of someones weight and how obese they might be. You can be tall, well built, and not have an ounce of fat on your body and have a BMI over 25. I'm 6'6" and 220 lbs. That's a BMI of 25.4, which is considered overweight. I workout 5 days a week, eat healthy, and am far from being overweight. Should I be taxed the same as a guy that has the same BMI and doesn't workout or watch their weight.
I don't think so.
